Introduction

“Not fear of things that I lost as sunshine always stays in my heart. Believe in yourself and do the right things. Do not fear criticism.”

Tong Wing-yin, Apple is a graphic designer, an illustrator and a freelance artist. Apple loves drawing. Upon her graduation from high school, Apple attained the BTEC National Diploma in Design, a 3-year foundation programme that covers areas including Fashion Design, Graphic Design and Interior Architecture. In 2019, Apple was supported by the “Cross All Borders Artists Development Fund” to study illustration courses at University of the Arts London.

Apple has actively participated in art exhibitions, competitions and activities, in an effort to boost awareness of arts inclusion in different sectors of society with her work. In 2014, she published her picture book “The Smile of Silent Angel”, and performed in “Gala Extraordinary – Stage of Ablity 2014” presented by RTHK. In 2015, Apple won the 1st Prize in Character Design Competition, Painting Competition and Poster Design Competition of “The 9th Hong Kong Abilympics”. In the same year, Apple’s artworks have been showcased in “ARTram Shelters” 3D Painting Exhibition and her first solo exhibition “See What I Said”.
