Ko Nam’s Solo Art Exhibition

Featuring some of the recent artworks by Ko Nam, this exhibition offers an intriguing insight into the artist’s unique talent in capturing mesmerizing sceneries, well articulated through either Chinese ink or oil technique.

Resonating from all the artworks chosen for this exhibition is Ko’s unwavering determination to pursue pure artistic excellence and aesthetical perfection. To further accentuate this, the exhibition has included a few selected pieces representative of Ko’s special interest in portraying lotus flowers, reminiscent of how the ancient Chinese scholar Zhou Dun-yi depicted the lotus flower’s admirable characteristic, and also pertinently underscoring Ko’s fortitude throughout his prolific career.

We can arrange guided tour for schools or organizations. Each group tour should not be more than 20 persons.

Artist Biography:

Ko Nam

ADAHK's Resident Artist. Born in Chengdu, China, Ko Nam lost his hearing due to childhood illness. He loves nature and travels widely in China and Europe. He is skilled in painting landscapes and sceneries. His paintings are characterized as being free and easy, passionate and optimistic, creating his unique sound world from his silent life. His paintings are widely collected by collectors in the United States, Canada, England, Japan, Denmark and Taiwan.
